Your script defends Joomla! 1.5.x + version ?

Has dedicated rule pack ?

Developers usually don't like to give ETA's, because there are always unforeseen things that can pop up, and cause delay (which then gets turned into flame from the user community). This is quite standard across the board for just about all development firms, and most likely is the same here...

You can use the generic rule pack in the mean time, which would work fine (It might even be more agressive than the specific pack for drupal)

I've use it with Joomla 1.5.3 by add the absolute path after the current include_path in php.ini.

And that's all.

Both .htaccess & require_once() didn't work at all.
