Hello! I'm Cam (=

I have a couple questions:
1.Would this benefit my site on shared hosting?

2. Would it benefit my site, or does it only have to forum? www.pc-fix.us

3. Is it possible to get a trial or demo?

4.Is there a guarantee? Such as if I get hacked then you will refund or something to fix the problem? I realize we could get hacked from a password, but I can assure you that my pass is abut 30 characters long for my cpanel.

5.I don't have Ioncube is there any other way?

Thank you!

Of course!

Any PHP-based script would benefit...basically anything you want to protect

3. Is it possible to get a trial or demo?

Unfortunately, not at this time

4.Is there a guarantee? Such as if I get hacked then you will refund or something to fix the problem? I realize we could get hacked from a password, but I can assure you that my pass is abut 30 characters long for my cpanel.

This is a tricky situation, but something we are tossing ideas around. The thing is, the software is only as secure as you make it, since everthing is 100% configurable. For instance, if you install the software and don't create any rules, then it really won't do much.

5.I don't have Ioncube is there any other way?

I'm afraid ioncube is required

Thank you!

Thanks for getting back with me.

I talked with my host I can enable Ioncube on my hosting. So that is possible...

On the rules, is it hard to setup? Can you give me some examples of the type of rules I put in, is it pre set in, or do I have to know a php language or coding to be able to configure the rules?

Also I was wondering what does the copyright look like? Doe sit just display when something is blocked, or does it have at the bottom of the site Protected BY: Something like that?

Thanks,

No, you just import a rule pack we provide. Its actually quite simple.

You have flexibility with the copyright. All we ask, is that you provide a link back to Firewall Script with the title "Firewall Script"

I'm really anxious to use this although I'm confident that no one will try to hack my site is there a way to tell if your site has holes?

But even if I do not have holes I would rather be safe then sorry, I am a little be weary on this. Do you have some kind of trial "if you do not like in 6 days you get your money back"? I'm just afraid it wont be what I'm thinking it is...

Thank you for answering and helping me understand this, smile.gif
