Thanks to all who took part in the beta! The beta test is now over

We are looking for a group of beta testers to help us iron out the first release of FireWall Script.

What is FireWall Script?

FireWall Script is exactly what it is called: a firewall script. It is a firewall for your PHP-powered website. Our software can monitor cookies, file uploads, server and environment variables, and post/get/request data for anything you wish, and perform a number of actions as a result. You can log the request for later analysis; you can execute a PHP plugin as a result of a matched request; you can redirect the user to a page of your choosing; you can even show a CAPTCHA interface page to verify the user is a human.

What can FireWall Script be used for?

Whatever you want! You configure the rules. You tell FireWall Script what you want to look for and what you want to do as a result. Think about this: you have a control panel for your site that you must login to in order to manage your site. If a security exploit is discovered in the software you use, a hacker could use this information to compromise your control panel. Perhaps it's an SQL injection, or a session hijack. What FireWall Script you could block this easily: look at the requested page. If the page requested is the administrative page, execute a PHP plugin. In the plugin, if the IP address is not your pre-configured IP address, block the request. It's that simple! You don't even have to display anything on the page, or you could send back a 404 error. Make the hacker think the page isn't there or is broken and he'd quite likely leave. Whatever information PHP provides, you can check, and handle it however you want.

Anything else?

We intend to create rule packs for populate PHP-written software. These rule packs would provide a basis to block your site, geared towards input parameters and exploits specific to the software you are running. More information will be available during later beta stages.

If you would like to beta test FireWall Script please send me a PM with the domain(s) you would like to test it on. A limited number of copies will be available for this (and the software will be ioncube encoded, so please be sure this will work on your server). After we have found enough testers we will cut off requests and this topic will be updated.

To all -

thank you for the interest! We have closed the beta testing period at this time. Feel free to purchase the script now at the reduced price (assuming you have a discount code), however we are not pulling anyone else on for beta testing at this time.

Thanks again for the interest!
